Technology Innovation Practice Leader
Travis Bailey has more than 20 years of experience, specializing in advanced network design and implementation of fiber deployment. He has held his current role since 2019 and previously co-owned Wintek prior to its acquisition by Tipmont. Travis earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and also has Cisco certifications as a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in Enterprise and a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Security. The latter is a selective certification demanding more than 1,000 hours of study before examination. Travis remains among only a few hundred CCIE-Security-certified individuals in the United States who are not also Cisco employees.
Sales Account Manager
Chris Barsotti assists businesses of all sizes in Wintek’s service area — helping them assess and achieve their networking and connectivity goals, and serving as a primary point of contact with Wintek. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and previously served in several sales capacities over 10 years with Kirby Risk Electrical Supply before joining Wintek in 2020. Chris enjoys helping local businesses evolve and succeed, and he continues to develop his skills through various training and resources.
Director of Sales
Mike Crabb has a proven track record of leading strategic initiatives, driving substantial growth, and building strong relationships with clients and partners. His extensive experience in managing high performing sales teams and promoting long-term business growth aligns perfectly with Wintek’s commitment to excellence. He is a fierce believer in engaging the entire team in the sales process, promoting collaboration across multiple departments to provide a superior solution to the customer. Mike spent most of his career at CenturyLink, where he partnered with customers through a strategic and consultative sales approach to understand their business challenges in order to deliver a value-driven network solution. Mike graduated from Taylor University and resides in Monticello, where he has been married to his wife Darla for over 35 years
David Flint
Network Engineer II
David Flint has numerous years of experience specializing in service provider design and implementation across the Wintek network — such as Segment Routing MPLS, EVPN and L2VPN technologies, routing, and switching protocols. David earned an associate degree from Ivy Tech Community College and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification, and has completed multiple training courses in Cisco Service Provider (CCNP) certification fields as well as Cisco IPv6 Fundamentals. David’s focus is designing and implementing business internet and private circuit connections, troubleshooting networking issues, designing Visio documentation, network monitoring solutions, and maintaining the entire service provider network.
Sales Coordinator
Mindi Hall has more than 20 years of experience in sales and customer service, with a passion for meeting customers’ needs through timely responses, helpful consultation and a collaborative approach. Mindi earned an associate degree in business from Indiana State University and previously worked at Kirby Risk Electrical Supply (including branch management of the Crawfordsville, Ind. location) before joining Tipmont in 2021.
Director of External Affairs
Jody Hamilton excels at creating connections for transformative community engagement, economic development and government relations. Jody has enhanced these efforts at Wintek since 2020 and previously served as Vice President of Economic and Workforce Development for Greater Lafayette Commerce for 24 years.
Jody also serves as a councilwoman and vice president of the Tippecanoe County Council, vice chair of Greater Lafayette Commerce, a board member of the Wabash River Enhancement Corporation, and member of the Area Plan Commission of Tippecanoe County. In addition, Jody has owned a small construction business alongside her husband for 20 years.
Network Engineer
Mallory Herbert is a seasoned network engineer with several years of experience in consulting. She earned her associate degree in network infrastructure from Ivy Tech Community College. Mallory’s dedication to optimizing network performance and commitment to staying at the forefront of industry trends has helped her build expertise in Cisco firewalls, switches, wireless technology, VoIP, network design and sales. She also holds a certificate for Engineering Cisco Meraki Solutions (ECMS), solidifying her proficiency in cutting-edge network solutions.

Customer Experience Practice Leader
Jason Monroe has more than 20 years of experience in the utility industry, encompassing both electric service and fiber broadband. Since 2020, Jason has helped Wintek Business Solutions customers discover the best ways to achieve their networking goal and demonstrated a passion for exceeding customers’ expectations. He earned a double bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering technology and automated manufacturing technology from ITT Technical Institute and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from DeVry University. Jason previously managed key accounts and worked in customer service, energy efficiency and renewable energy for Tipmont.
Network Engineering Manager
John Plahitko has more than 20 years of experience in information technology, encompassing roles in technical support, systems administration and network engineering. Along with his team, John designs and implements Wintek’s next-generation service provider network. John earned an associate degree from Ivy Tech Community College and also holds a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification in Enterprise.
Network Engineer II
Part of the Wintek team since 2018, Dylan Popp builds and maintains the core network, monitors network equipment and traffic utilization, and maintains in-house services / tools used by the Internet Service Provider team. Dylan earned his associate degree in network infrastructure from Ivy Tech Community College and a bachelor’s degree in network engineering from Western Governors University. He also holds certifications as a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and an Amazon Web Systems (AWS) SysOps Administrator Associate. Dylan’s proficiency in Python and Ansible facilitates efficient network automation while his knowledge in FreeBSD and Linux further enhances his technical repertoire.
Mike Wehr
Telecommunications Engineering Supervisor
Mike Wehr has 20-plus years of experience working in all aspects of the fiber industry, from installation and construction to design and engineering, and holds an associate degree in computer information systems from Ivy Tech. Mike joined Wintek in 2013 and has since designed and engineered nearly all of Wintek’s new fiber construction projects over the ensuing years. Along with his team, Mike manages and maintains over 2,500 miles of fiber for business and residential customers in a territory that is growing every day.
Consulting Practice Leader
Bryan Wrede has more than 20 years of IT experience — managing server and network infrastructures, as well as data center operations, across multiple platforms after attending Purdue University. Bryan has a keen eye to effectively plan, install and configure infrastructure for reliability and performance, and a proven ability to create and deliver solutions that create business growth, organizational development, and system / network optimization. He is comfortable managing systems, projects and teams, and highly motivated and skilled in identifying, troubleshooting and resolving IT problems.
